Having the ability to take raw data and turn it into useful Business Intelligence is key to the success for just about every business.

And my client is no exception. They’ve created a new role for a Data Engineer to join them to design, implement and maintain data systems that will help them drive efficiencies and meet their business objectives.

This role can be remote in the UK though you will have to be based in the UK, be a UK citizen and meet the criteria to pass SC level security clearance (check it out before you apply).

In return for your skills and expertise you’ll receive a salary in the region of £50k to £60k + benefits (private medical, 33 days holiday (inlcusive), pension etc.).

To be successful in this role you’ll need some or all of the following skills:

-         Previous experience in a similar Data Engineering position

-         Demonstrable experience of Power BI

-         Excellent SQL skills (database development, management etc.)

-         Knowledge of ETL tools & frameworks

-         Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS etc.)

-         Software Development skills (JAVA, Python) is an advantage

-         Knowledge of data governance and security & compliance (GDPR etc.)
