About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a growing business in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional team and play a key role in supporting accurate and timely payroll processing across the organisation.

The successful candidate will support the preparation and administration of monthly payroll, ensuring employee information is processed accurately, confidentially and in line with company procedures. This position would suit an organised and detail-focused individual who enjoys working with data, meeting deadlines and delivering a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the preparation and processing of monthly payroll
  • Collating, checking and entering payroll data including starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime and deductions
  • Processing statutory payments including sick pay and absence-related payments
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and monitoring payroll-related changes
  • Supporting pension administration, including enrolment and contribution updates
  • Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting requirements
  • Responding to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensuring payroll processes remain compliant with legislation and internal procedures
  • Supporting improvements to payroll processes and systems

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a payroll administration role, with strong numerical accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
