We are delighted to be working with an international Energy business as they look to add an experienced Accountant, with focus on Statutory Accounts prep and preparing full financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality statutory financial statements and audit back-up.
- Give external auditors information and justifications on the entity's statutory financial statements and the group's financial statements.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of local laws, appropriate local accounting standards, group accounting policies, and International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Assist the Internal Audit procedure by offering justifications and data as required.
- Compliance with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements, ensuring financial controls are addressed within deadlines set
- Preparation of reconciliations and analysis with relevant and appropriate back up and critical analysis of the balances in significant entities
