FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Tendering Coordinator based in Aberdeen for a 6-12 month Maternity Cover Contract, working full time hours and starting ASAP.
Supporting the wider Tender and Business Development teams, the role will act as a key interface between various internal and external stakeholders to prepare effective and commercially viable proposals.
Main duties include:
- Prepare effective proposals and presentations to secure new business opportunities
- Assist in the compilation of RFI’s and tenders
- Tender design, formatting, referencing and proofing
- Ensure final tender submissions are accurate, complete, and meet deadlines
- Assist in marketing activities and attend any events related to the role
- Support the business development efforts on services, new products and technologies
- Research client and market information in support of key client pursuit plans
Suitable candidates should have the following:
- Prior experience in a similar tendering / proposals focused role within an industrial sector
- Ability to adapt to and learn technical details to understand client requirements
- Highly organised approach, able to coordinate various activities at a time
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and against time constraints
- Keen attention to detail
- Experience working with Microsoft Project (desirable)
