About the Role

FT Recruitment are currently supporting our client, a rapidly growing power services company, to recruit for an Internal Sales Representative to join their team in Bridge of Don on a Permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company by taking personal and complete responsibility for each customer contact and by ensuring that all customer requirements are completely met.  The Internal Salesperson has primary responsibility for ensuring that customer needs are met.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

·      Communicate effectively with the Internal Sales Lead, expeditor, and fellow Internal Sales, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met

·      Compile and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents etc

·      Acknowledge and appropriately greet and assist every customer in a timely manner

·      Process customer quotes and orders in a courteous, efficient and timely manner

·      Organise workflow to meet customer deadlines

·      Effectively present, promote and discuss the products and services of the company in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs

·      Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with excellent customer service/communication skills.  

·      Attend to customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitate satisfactory resolution, escalating promptly any issues beyond standard resolution

·      Look for opportunities to maximise sales by negotiating with suppliers/manufacturers to facilitate improved terms

·      Participate proactively in regular sales team meetings and 1-2-1 meetings

·      Other duties as assigned by the Internal Sales Lead

Experience and skill set required:

·      Previous experience in an Internal Sales or similar role, with great sales and customer service skills

·      Strong organisation and problem solving skills, being high adaptive and flexible to both customers and internal stakeholders needs is essential

·      Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality such as taking feedback to improve performance and to ensure quality

·      Strong own initiative, volunteering to help other departments for the overall benefit of the business as well as for personal growth

·      Prioritization is a key skill required for this role, due to busy workload and working to deadlines and objective you must be able to prioritize your time efficiently

·      Customer service, going above and beyond for clients and customer to retain business as well as acquire new business and growth for the company

·      A friendly, approachable, warm and personable attitude and personality is essential for this role
