FT Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Operations Lead/ Head of Operations on behalf of our client. Our client is looking for an accomplished and forward-thinking Head of Operations to provide strategic oversight and day-to-day leadership across their QHSE advisory function. This role will steer a team of specialist Advisors, driving effective task allocation, capability growth, and consistently high-quality delivery to their clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership to the QHSE Advisor team, ensuring effective service delivery, proactive client engagement, and consistent contract performance.
- Oversee the coordination and execution of client projects and advisory work, ensuring outputs align with required standards and expectations.
- Support the development of new commercial opportunities, contributing to tenders, onboarding new contracts, and strengthening existing client partnerships.
- Guide the implementation and continuous improvement of frameworks relating to Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, Information Security, and GDPR.
- Ensure alignment with relevant management system standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 27001.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Demonstrated success in an operational leadership post, preferably with people management or supervisory responsibility
- Comfortable working within a high-tempo, client-driven environment
- NEBOSH General Certificate or an equivalent health & safety qualification
- Lead Auditor accreditation in at least one of the following: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or ISO 27001
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Innovative mindset, some with a 'think out of the box' attitude and who can be a team player
- Strong work ethic, great ability to meet strict deadlines and during challenging times can motivate the team around them
