FT Recruitment are supporting our established client to recruit for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join their growing legal team. The successful candidate will assist with property transactions, ensuring all legal documentation is accurately prepared and processed in compliance with relevant regulations. Duties

• Assist solicitors with the preparation and review of legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation
• Manage and organise case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction progress
• Conduct property searches and verify title deeds as required
• Draft correspondence and reports using Microsoft Word and organise data using Microsoft Excel
• Schedule appointments, deadlines, and follow-ups efficiently using Microsoft Outlook to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with data protection regulations
• Support the team with administrative duties as needed, including filing, photocopying, and data entry

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal is essential for this role
• Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with good IT literacy skills.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise workload efficiently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data handling
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a professional environment
• A recognised legal qualification or relevant paralegal certification is advantageous but not mandatory
