FT Recruitment are currently supporting our client to find a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, particularly in residential conveyancing, and will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of property transactions. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. This is a full time role based in their Aberdeen office.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Manage all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to completion

·       Conduct thorough legal research and document review to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

·       Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other necessary paperwork

·       Manage own caseload of purchase/sale transactions, transfer of title, re-mortgage and executry transactions

·       Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions

·       Maintain accurate records and manage case files using document management systems

·       Provide direct cover for settlements and ongoing transaction work for Line Managers, Solicitor and paralegals within team during periods of absence and holiday cover

·       Review monthly WIP reports and credit/debit balances and action accordingly

Skills & experience required for this role:

·       Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal is essential for this role

·       A keen interest and enthusiasm for property work and can demonstrate general understanding of property law

·       Experience with legal case management software and document management systems

·       Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and proofreading materials

·       Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

·       Managing your own caseload of purchase/sale transactions, executry, transfer of title and re-mortgage transactions

·       Strong ability to work to sharp deadlines in a fast paced and challenging environment
