FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Contracts Engineer based in Aberdeen on a Contract basis for approx. 6 months initially, with the potential for extensions or transfer to a permanent role thereafter.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of all commercial, contractual, and administrative aspects of our client’s projects, ensuring smooth execution from contract award through to completion.

Main duties include:

• Act as the key liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Manage contracts, tendering, and subcontract negotiations to deliver value
• Resolve contractual and commercial issues, ensuring full understanding and compliance with contractual obligations across internal stakeholders
• Responsible for managing contractual and commercial aspects during the contract
• Support project planning, budgeting, cost reporting, invoicing, and procurement
• Provide strategic advice to project teams and optimize project control processes

Suitable candidates should have the following:

• Experience in Contracts focused roles within offshore oil & gas, subsea or energy sectors
• Experience in providing commercial support throughout the project lifecycle
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
