FT Recruitment Group are exclusively supporting our client, a leading energy service company, with the appointment of a Contracts Engineer on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, based at their offices in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.
This is a key role providing commercial support through both the tendering process, and providing ongoing support with any commercial issues arising during project operations.
Main duties include:
- Preparation and collation of budgets, proposals and tender submissions
- Preparing accurate cost and price estimates, along with commercial, contractual and technical deliverables for tenders
- Liaising with Technical Sales team to asses suitability and feasibility of solutions provided
- Drafting / negotiating call-offs to framework agreements
- Conducting risk reviews and handling transitions to Operations teams
- Providing ongoing commercial support throughout the project
- Ensuring monthly invoicing accuracy
- Partnering with Supply Chain to evaluate supplier performance and strategic partnerships
Suitable candidates should have the following:
- Several years’ experience in a similar Contracts role
- Commercially astute with excellent communication / organisation skills
- Able to manage workload independently and operate to deadlines
- Client focused, proactive, solutions driven
- Experience supporting global projects / jurisdictions (desirable)
Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
